366 Days of Gratitude and Good Things: Day 76

Afraid it’s another brief one. Felt marginally better today — had enough energy to work the full day, anyway — but the brain cells are refusing to come up with anything even remotely worth writing down.

Also, one of my friends shared another video from the TEDxUNR event last month, and I’m trying to decide if I want to write about it in conjunction with some past history.

I probably will, because I’ve written about it elsewhere, but I don’t have the energy or clarity to do it tonight.

Excuse me while I get another cough drop and some more tissues. See y’all tomorrow.

366 Days of Gratitude and Good Things: Day 75

Still sick. Dammit. And it’s too damned hot for February, fer pete’s sake. Went home sick yesterday and today — and am grateful a couple of my coworkers had time to tackle most of the stack of invoices I had left, and ditto today. Grateful, too, for the breeze.

Will be really really grateful if I can sleep lying down tonight instead of sitting up, because my upper body feels like I’ve been hanging on for dear life while riding a bike with bent wheels and flat tires over 13 miles of bad road.

Prolixity one day, verbal economy the next. Balance: it’s what life’s all about!  😉

366 Days of Gratitude and Good Things: Day 39

Still sick, sleepy and draggy-assed. Worked a half-day, came home expecting to have to do laundry. Discovered a cache of enough clean laundry to last me through the rest of the week.

This was a good thing.

Hope to be back to blogging more than a hundred words at a time in a day or two. Thanks for bearing with me.  🙂

366 Days of Gratitude and Good Things: Day 38

And today I’m grateful I didn’t have anything vital on the agenda, because after yesterday’s fun, I spent much of today sleepy and draggy-assed and cuddled up with the kittehs.

Of course, that means I’ll be doing laundry tomorrow, but hey, then I can be grateful I don’t have to haul it to the laundromat!  😀

Sleepy now. Zzzzzzz…
